Who am I
My name is Robert Molema (born 1973, the Netherlands). I studied electric guitar and ECO (electronic composition) at the Groningen Conservatory (NL). I played in several rock bands with my own work and formed duos with female singers. I also participated in many projects and cover bands. At the moment I am a full-time guitar, piano, bass guitar and songwriting teacher and form a duo with singer Ellen Moelker. I wrote a concept album with 12 songs based on the story of Alfred Issendorf from the book 'Beyond Sleep' by the Dutch writer W.F. Hermans. The 12 songs now really need a good singer to give the project its definitive form and let the world hear it. In 2015 I started working with great courage to complete the recordings and to give this project its definitive form through crowdfunding. A serious documentary was recorded in Wijk Bij Duurstede during the recording of 3 songs. You can view these above.What happened?
Like many things in life, you can't control everything and things came my way that put this project on hold. But it's just sitting there waiting to be finished.
The Band
The band I founded in 2015 no longer exists. The band consisted of: Tole Emmelot on flute, Guus Willemse on bass guitar, Lourens de Vries on drums and Emile Hal on keyboards and me playing the guitars and the singing and and he took care of the recording engineering and production.Read More....
